Sip & Bid 2020
2020 has been a challenging year for all of us! Around this time of year we host our annual Sip & Bid fundraiser. Due to the restrictions we are unable to host this fundraising event. In lieu of purchasing the ticket, we are asking you to consider donating the ticket price of $65. With this donation you will be entered into a raffle draw to win our Wine Tree collection which is over 40 bottles of wine!
With your donation of $65 or more, you will be entered into the Wine Tree Draw!
With your donation of $100 or more, you will be entered into the Wine Tree Draw, twice!
The funds raised from this event allows us to enhance our programming to the children and families whose specific needs are not covered through our current funding. With the event cancellation, right now, more than ever, we need your support and we ask for your help through this very challenging time.
We would like to share a real story of someone our donors have helped recently. Her name is “T” (she wished to stay anonymous) and she had a child in our PUF program and was helped by our Community Options Family Support Worker, Nora.
This is "T's" Story...
“If it wasn't for the Community Options team and my support worker Nora, I would still be struggling and living in second stages shelter for women and children after fleeing an abusive relationship not knowing what was truly out there for myself and my child. I had a social worker involved but did not feel supported by her. My daughter had something wrong, but I didn't know what it was. You helped me find a pediatrician and a referral to the Glenrose, and then a diagnosis and into a Community Options program that is best for her. You came with me to appointments I was worried about. You found me a permanent home. I am now in affordable housing. I am in school and my daughter has made so many gains like using more words and potty-training. Community Options is not just about helping my child with her speech and behavior, they are so much more. They take care of the whole family and support where they can and give me resources to help myself and my child live better lives.”
On behalf of the many children and families we serve at Community Options, thank you for your kind consideration of this request!
