Sip & Bid

This year marks our 7th annual Sip & Bid fundraiser on November 15, 2019. As a non-profit organization, this event allows us to enhance our programming for the children and families being served, whose specific needs are not covered through our current funding.  Specialized equipment, training opportunities for families and staff as well as facility upgrades are all made possible through the success of this event and generous donors like you.
As a community partner and friend of Community Options, we invite you to join this venture by sponsoring a dessert, appetizer or wine reception or by donating to our live and silent auction.  All levels of sponsorship are welcome and very much appreciated. To say thank you, we would be happy to acknowledge your sponsorship at our Sip & Bid event, as well as through our social media channels, website and newsletter.

Festive Meal
In December 2019, Community Options will be hosting our 18th Annual Festive Meal for the Inglewood Community. This is a time for families in our programs to come together with the Inglewood and surrounding communities to enjoy a traditional festive meal. The meal is offered at the Inglewood Community Hall. We are anticipating approximately 350-400 people to attend.
The Inglewood community is characterized by a high percentage of single, divorced, or separated individuals and more single parent families per capita. Inglewood is also considered a high needs community due to high unemployment rate and low-income families as well as numerous low income housing units in the neighborhood. Community Options has three childcare programs in this community and realizes the importance of working closely with the Community League and Inglewood School to support the many families in need.

Spring Into Inclusion Conference

This year marks Community Options’ 7th Annual Spring into Inclusion Conference. This year we are happy to have Dr. Jody Carrington, present to our delegates. There are also a variety of topics addressed throughout our conference pertaining to early childhood education, behavior management, social and emotional development and so much more. We are anticipating 200+ delegates from across Alberta to be in attendance.
As a community partner and friend of Community Options, we invite you to join this venture by sponsoring our organization in terms of the costs associated with this conference (ie: presenter fees, venue, food, etc). All levels of sponsorship are welcomed and very much appreciated by our organization.  Community Options has made tremendous strides in strengthening our online and community presence. We intend to recognize all our sponsors in our newsletters, our growing social media channels, our website, at upcoming community events, as well as throughout our conference.
The funds generated at our annual Spring into Inclusion conference will be allocated to our inclusive early learning and care programs, focused on serving a diversity of children and families through inclusive early childhood education and community initiatives. Specifically, the funds will be directed to enhancing programming for children and families whose specific needs are not covered through our current funding. This will help kids and change lives.
